New Omnia ROM Upgrade on the Horizon, Widgets Galore!

As the Samsung Omnia sees further ROM updates from Samsung (J1 is the most recent), it leaves us craving for some better widgets, and maybe some sort of interface to manage them.
Well, the word on the street (from MoDaCo) is that a new ROM, L1 & L2, add a ton of new widgets, like Yahoo, CNN, AccuWeather, Stocks, and others, as seen below. Also, there’s a new application to manage the widgets. Nice! The ROM that you can download from the MoDaCo forum thread isn’t the official Samsung release, so we won’t be testing it just yet…but we’ll keep an eye out for when it’s ready for prime time.
