BioIQ Gets Win At Alere

Santa Barbara-based BioIQ, a provider of web-based, consumer health testing services, said last week that it has inked a deal to provide its services to Alere, a provider of health and wellness serviecs. According to BioIQ, the firms will work together to supply the firm’s home-test kits and online reporting tools as part of Alere’s offerings. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. BioIQ is venture backed by .5M in funding from Great Pacific Capital. BioIQ’s services allow consumers to take in-home health diagnostic tests, and review and track those tests online via a web site.
