INRIX Gets Win With LBS Provider

Kirkland, Washington-based INRIX, a provider of traffic information, said Tuesday that the firm has signed a deal with location-based services firm Networks In Motion. According to INRIX, Networks In Motion will use the firm’s Total Fusion Traffic data for its AtlasBook Navigator product. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Network In Motion’s product is used by Verizon’s VZ Navigator, YellowPages.com Mobile, and other similar search and navigation services on major wireless carriers.
